17.1.3 Creating Websphere Datasources
We need to create XA and NON-XA data sources in the IBM WebSphere Application Server profile, AppSrv01 used for the IBM FileNet P8, Content Engine server web application for configuration later using the acce web application, Content Engine Administration tool:
export SWT_GTK3=0
cd /opt/IBM/FileNet/ContentEngine/tools/configure
./configmgr
The commands listed above, launch the IBM FileNet Configuration Manager eclipse tool on the ECMUKDEMO22 server, as shown in Figure 17.9:
Figure 17.9: The IBM FileNet Configuration Manager eclipse tool on the ECMUKDEMO22 server
We select the existing ASBECM8553NewInstall profile we used to configure the IBM Content Platform Engine as shown in Figure 17.10:
Figure 17.10: Select the ASBECM8553NewInstall profile used to configure the IBM Content Platform Engine
We get a reminder to verify the connections to the WAS server first after loading the configuration profile file. Click OK as shown in Figure 17.11:

Edit the loaded config profile WAS properties as shown in Figure 17.12:

Enter the wasadm WebSphere Administrator user password and click on the Finish button as shown in Figure 17.13:
Figure 17.13: Enter the wasadm WebSphere Administrator user password and click on the Finish command
Note: Although the Test Connection command displays a CORBA error the Tasks will run correctly as long as the Finish command button is highlighted.
Click Finish, then right-click on the main ASBECM8553NewInstall node and select Add New Task and then, select Configure Object Store JDBC Data Sources as shown in Figure 17.14:
Figure 17.14: Right-click ASBECM8553NewInstall node | Add New Task | Configure Object Store JDBC Data Sources
Next, we right-click on the New_Configure Object Store JDBC Data Source task and select the Rename Task… menu item option, as shown in Figure 17.15:
Figure 17.15: Right-click on the New_Configure Object Store JDBC Data Source task and select the Rename Task… menu item option
Rename the task, as shown in Figure 17.16:

To configure CASTORE1 JDBC Data Sources as shown in Figure 17.17:
Figure 17.17: Rename to Configure CASTORE1 JDBC Data Sources
Right-click on the Configure CASTORE1 JDBC Data Sources task and select Edit Selected Task from the drop-down menu as shown in Figure 17.18:
Figure 17.18: Select Edit Selected Task from the drop-down menu
Enter the JDBC Data Source names, FNCA1DS and FNCA1DSXA and the connection parameters as displayed in Figure 17.19:

Scroll the page down to click on the Test Database Connection button as shown in Figure 17.20:

Although this test may show an error message, this does not prevent the task from completing correctly as shown after selecting Run Task in Figure 17.21:
