17.2 IBM Case Monitor Dashboard 5.3.3 plugin

To configure the IBM Case Monitor Dashboard:
- In the IBM Case Manager configuration tool, edit and run the Register the IBM Case Monitor Widgets Package task as shown in Figure 17.36:

cd /opt/IBM/CaseManagement/configure
ls
./configmgr
- Select the File | Open Profile… menu item to open the existing configuration profile as shown in Figure 17.37:

- Browse to the profile configuration file and click OK as shown in Figure 17.38:

- The profile tasks can take a minute or so to load and be displayed, select File | Edit Profile Properties first, to update the wasadm password as shown in Figure 17.39:

- Re-enter the wasadm user password as highlighted in Figure 17.40:

- Select the Test Connection button and click Next > as shown in Figure 17.41.

- Select the Test Connection button and click Finish as shown in Figure 17.42:

- Save and Run the Register the Case Monitor Widgets Package as shown in Figure 17.43:

- Run the IBM Case Monitor desktop as shown in Figure 17.44, using the link as follows:

- The initial Case Monitor Dashboard before adding Case Dashboard and Task Dashboard events, following the CASTORE1 creation is shown as follows in Figure 17.45:

- A new database connection is created in the IBM Data Studio 4.1.3 Db2 eclipse administration tool we installed in section 10.3.1 Creating an IBM FileNet CASTORE Datasource pair for the Datasource, as shown in Figure 17.46:

The CASTORE1 database tables are shown, highlighted, as follows in Figure 17.47:

- Click on Enable the common base event adapter for WebSphere Business Monitor as shown in Figure 17.48:

- The pop-up window is displayed on ticking the box in Figure 17.48, as shown in Figure 17.49 and Figure 17.50:

- Save and Refresh the Workflow System tab buttons after clicking on the highlighted Close button, as shown in Figure 17.50:

- Check the following Event Logs have been created as shown in Figure 17.51:

- Also check if the Roster logs are available as highlighted in Figure 17.52:

- Restart the Content Platform Engine Server, using the commands as shown in Figure 17.53:

- Check the System Fields and click Add for the DefaultEventLog repeat this for each of the event queues, AC_GeneralClaim, AC_ClaimwithBodilyInjury and AC_MajorLossClaim, as shown in Figure 17.54 and Figure 17.55:

- Scroll down to add the fields as highlighted below in Figure 17.55. Remember to click on the Save and Refresh buttons after the update of each Event Log:
