14.1 Importing the Case Manager solution

In this chapter, we will enhance the above documentation to include the latest (at the time of writing) versions of the available systems and highlight any enhancements and additional configuration steps which have become relevant.
14.1.1 Resources
There is a download available for the AutoClaims example solution at:

We can download this file using the Linux FireFox Browser as shown in Figure 14.1:

The status of the download can be viewed by clicking the top-right corner icon on FireFox browser as shown in Figure 14.2:

The part numbers used to download the IBM supporting software are shown in Table 14.1:

Download the build. This current release is downloaded as follows, using the IBM Software Access Catalog link:

The search by the Part Number, C1R26EN, displayed in Table 14.1, gives the following for download as shown in Figure 14.3:

Open the http://ecmukdemo22:9081/?desktop=icmadmin The Case Manager Administration navigator desktop tool, as shown in Figure 14.4:

The Domain P85510ECM is displayed. Select the DOS1 Object Store shown in Figure 14.5:

The DOS1, Design Object Store node, Solutions node is selected to show the Import drop-down, Import Solution | From Solution Package menu item, shown in Figure 14.6:

Click on the Solutions Browse button. Select the downloaded Auto_Claims_solution.zip as shown in Figure 14.7:

Use the default project area and select the Next> button as shown in Figure 14.8:

The details of the Auto Claims solution are displayed for review, click Next, in Figure 14.9:

The Design Object Store, DOS1 is selected and the Target Object store TOS1 and the Finish command clicked. as shown in Figure 14.10:

The Import Solution status bar is displayed as shown in Figure 14.11:

The Auto Claims solution is successfully imported. Close the tab as shown in Figure 14.12:

We can see the solution has been added, as highlighted in Figure 14.13:

The Solution can be viewed in the IBM Case Builder using the link, http://ecmukdemo22:9081/CaseBuilder/designer/DesignerHome.jsp, shown in Figure 14.14:

The Auto Claims name is clicked to upgrade the solution as highlighted in Figure 14.15:

The Upgrade button is clicked as shown in Figure 14.16:

The status of the upgrade is shown in Figure 14.17:

Next, we select the General Claim from the list of IBM Case Builder, Case Types tab, as highlighted in Figure 14.19:

The Tasks menu is selected to view the Required tasks for the Auto Claims \ General Claim Case Type and the Validate command is selected as shown in Figure 14.20:

The Validate button gives the pop-up error window as displayed in Figure 14.21. This shows that we are missing the ICM_RuleOperations queue:
